Great little GPS with bluetooth and superior arm mount
I currently own units from TomTom and Magellan but prefer this unit to them both. The touch screen is very easy and responsive. The bluetooth speakerphone is a must have feature. I think the best feature of this GPS unit is arm mount. The arm mount has a spring loaded pushbutton release that is far superior to the others I've seen with the TomTom and Magellan. I also really like that the power adapter plugs into the arm mount as well as the unit itself. The combination of these features makes it very easy to single handedly release the unit from its mount to enter data or store the unit.
The only negative I've found is that the spoken directions could use to be a bit louder. I need to have the volume on max to be able to hear them while on a highway with moderate radio.
Decent GPS
I bought this about six months ago and it has a lot of features, but the lag on the map when driving stinks. I have had Garmin and Tomtom and I will stay with Tomtom for my next GPS.
Great GPS
I bought this GPS for my Dad over a year ago. My Dad loves it!! It is always on point. My Dad also tried "tricking" it by going different ways, and it took him right back to his original course. My Dad and Step-Mom live in Washington and travel all over to California, New Mexico,Utah, Vegas, and Tahoe, and they never get lost or lose a signal. They type in their destination and they are on their way. They also like how there are alot of different "points of intrest" they find while traveling. They love their "Sally" (that's what they call it).
Great Product!
I ordered this product for my boyfriend for Christmas, as he's going away to another state for a year for work. I figured that, since he is not familiar with the area he's going to, this would help him out greatly. (I knew it would also help him out here at home once he's back). So far, this product has been GREAT! The bluetooth capability works wonderfully, the picture viewer is very cool, and we are excited that it has live traffic capability! We don't have the adapter for that yet, but soon we will. That will be very helpful, especially when he moves back home.. as we live near L.A., and there is ALWAYS traffic here. I would definitely recommend this Garmin to others.
